From Official Vinylmation Blog:
With the start of this new week, we are continuing our look at some of the series we discussed at the Vinylmation™ Conversation during the Vinylmation™ Showcase event on August 29, 2010. Today, we are discussing Vinylmation™ – Occupations.
Like Vinylmation™ – Celebrations, this series will be an open window box featuring a variety of professions or occupations. Each box will contain one, 3-inch figure and one of three randomly selected Vinylmation, Jr. figure.
Here is an image of the Firefighter figure with the three junior figures.
And here is the Teacher figure with its three juniors (which get an A+ in our book).
You may notice there are two other professions shown in the artwork – a figure with a suit and tie and a computer screen. We are hoping the latter is for Internet bloggers like us.

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
While this Disney Parks Blog article features mostly Disney pins, we love the first image. Perfect for the start of College Football season: It’s Game Time!
Today also marks the start of our look at some of the series we discussed at the Vinylmation™ Conversation during the Vinylmation™ Showcase event on August 29, 2010. We were thrilled to see so many fans in attendance and we were super excited to share some sneak previews of what you can expect in the next year. It may have seemed like a lot, but the releases will be spread out over a period of time. The ultimate goal is to give our fans lots of different choices (as everyone has something they like to collect).
First up is Vinylmation™ Celebrations. This will be an open window box series featuring a variety of things to celebrate. While you will be able to pick your favorite 3″ figures featuring a particular celebration, each box will contain one of three randomly selected Vinylmation, Jr. mystery figures. This concept is similar to the Vinylmation™ Sports series and Vinylmation™ – Oh Mickey! series released in April 2010.
Here is an image of the Graduate figure with the three junior figures.
And here is the Thank You figure with its three juniors.
Keen eyes will notice the logo above contains a few additional figures – Happy Birthday, Blue Ribbon – The Best, and the Mickey Mouse face one. Any guesses on the last one? Stay tuned….

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
We mentioned earlier this week that the Glow-in-the-Dark Vinylmation™ Create-Your-Own Figures were arriving in select Disneyland® Resort merchandise locations within this week. More Good news – many Walt Disney World® Resort locations should start receiving them soon (as they have arrived in Florida). There are lots of locations that will carry them, but your first stop should be D-Street at Downtown Disney® WestSide in Florida. Check there in about a week or so as these items will be rolling out to locations within the next two weeks.
Okay – so we hear that there are some questions around the theme of Vinylmation, Jr. Series #2. Let’s take a look at the box top above (to which we took the liberty in changing the colors). What colors do you see? Does it remind you of anyone? It makes us smile . . . . almost like a cat.
And this just in …. we’ve had to make a minor change to the upcoming Disney Design Group Artist signing planned for Sunday, July 11 at D-Street in California. Here’s the deal – we want to have a signing on July 11 but we’ve had some schedule conflicts come up. So we are working on the best time for the artists and will update that information as soon as possible. So sorry for any confusion. Trust us, we are super excited to have a signing at D-Street in California.
And for those Guests attending the Dateline Disneyland® 1955 – Pin-Vited Press Event on July 10, Monty Maldovan and Alex Maher will be attending that event as well.
But here is some exciting news – the Vinylmation® Condiments set will be released on June 25, 2010 at D-Street in California. The release date for Walt Disney World® Resort and on-line is still unknown (but the set is coming soon).

This set will have an edition size of 2000 and will have a retail of $84.95. Since this will be a limited edition set, Guests may purchase a maximum of two sets, per day. For those of you wondering, you unfortunately can’t put any real condiments in these figures.

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
Something was shared with us yesterday that looks soooooo awesome. We unfortunately can’t share much of the image yet but we thought we’d at least give you an arm. It is coming very, very soon so stay tuned. Oh the water is coming …. such colorful water.
And in other news. All the answers are right there – just think. Colors. So many colors. T-Minus 9 days.

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
We had the opportunity to see the Main Street Elecrical Parade last night at Magic Kingdom® Park. How “electrosynthamagnetically” awesome it was to see it again! Some Guests may have heard about the new Create Your Own Vinylmation figure that is being released within the week at Disneyland® Resort (don’t worry Florida and on-line fans, it is coming soon).
With the debut of the World of Color, it seemed fitting to have the new Glow-in-the-Dark Vinylmation® Figure released in California first. There will be a 9″ and a 3″ version of the figure as seen below.

9″ Glow in the Dark Figure

3″ Glow in the Dark Figure
Some of you may be wondering – does it really glow in the dark? Yes – it really does. Here is the 3″ Figure glowing with the lights out. Sweet! Though we kind of feel we are seeing a ghost.
Like we mentioned, these figures should be arriving within the week in California to the following locations:
3″ Figure:
D-Street – Downtown Disney® District
Off the Page – Disney California Adventure® Park
Tower Gifts – Disney California Adventure® Park
Adventureland Bazaar – Disneyland® Park
Showcase Gifts – Disneyland® Park
9″ Figure:
D-Street – Downtown Disney® District
Tower Gifts – Disney California Adventure® Park
We also announced last Friday that Vinylmation, Jr. – Series #2 is coming. We now have a release date for the series which will premiere in California first on June 18, 2010 at the following locations:
Vinylmation, Jr. – Series #2 – California Release Location
D-Street – Downtown Disney® District
World of Disney® Store – Downtown Disney® District
Star Trader – Disneyland® Park
Gag Factory – Disneyland® Park
Showcase Gifts – Disneyland® Park
Westward Ho – Disneyland® Park

The release date for Walt Disney World® Resort and the Disney Parks On-Line Store has not been determined at this time. We’ll update as soon as we know more.

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
We are happy to announce another Vinylmation™ Jr collection, which will make it’s appearance in the near future.
This bright packaging has a “color block” design and was art directed by Disney Design Group Artist Thomas Scott. What’s inside the box you ask? Well, we’re not quite ready to reveal the designs just yet, but we can say that the collection has great personality (or is that personalities?).
With this preview we can say that the Vinylmation Jr. Series 2 will also be a keychained set, there has been speculation that they wont continue the keychains. Also, with the release of the Vinylmation Jr. Series #2, we could see Vinylmation Jr. Trading in the Parks soon, as the ‘heads’ of Vinylmation said that we’d be able to trade Vinylmation Jrs when more are released, we are one step closer.

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
At 8:30 a.m. this morning, D-Street at the Downtown Disney® WestSide in Florida opened its doors to Vinylmation™ Fans. From 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., we held a special Passholder Preview. Passholders had an opportunity to sign the “I Was There” Vinylmation® Figure which will eventually be displayed at D-Street (in the orange case). Steven, Project Manager for Trading, told us that case would rotate out with various things like one-of-a-kind figures. It currently features the Disney Star Showcase with figures signed and designed by Disney Stars like the Jonas Brothers or folks from “Phineas & Ferb.”The first 500 Passholders that visited D-Street this morning received a 1.5″ button featuring Mr. Toad. This figure will be one of the first Passholder Exclusive figures being released later this year. When it is released, it will be available to Passholders in both Florida and California. The button was a special creation just for the sneak preview today.Vinylmation, Jr. Series 1 was released which featured 18 different designs in a mystery box. There are 36 key chains to a tray. If you purchase the whole tray, you get two sets of 16 key chains plus one of each of the mystery chaser key chains. You may also recall the Disney Parks Blog Article back in January 2010 discussing the Vinylmation™ Cutesters. Steven mentioned in that article that the Cutesters inspired bag had an extra mystery. It too was revealed today – a Vinylmation™ Junior key chain is attached to the back. At the time, Steven couldn’t show the Junior figure as we weren’t ready to announce this new 1.5″ figure. But now you know. The 6-foot by 6-foot Create Your Own Table featured an incredible Mickey Mouse creation. You have to see it to believe it.There were a few additional surprises that happened at the last minute. We didn’t think we could get the Park #4 Series 9″ featuring Sully & Boo and Adventures Thru Inner Space for the store opening. Yet we were able to get some. We even made another trip to the warehouse to get additional Sully & Boo figures (which as of 1:00 p.m., the store still had several remaining). The Adventures Thru Inner Space will appear again soon (most likely at D-Street).There was also a special Purchase with Purchase Promotion launched for the opening and found only at D-Street in Florida. Guests can receive a Vinylmation® Bag for $1.95 with any merchandise purchase of $30. See the in-store signage for all the details. But here is a picture of the bag.Around 12:00 p.m., the first official Vinylmation™ Figure trade was made at D-Street. Here is Steven with the Mystery Box 24 which has been featured at several recent Disney Trading Nights in Florida. D-Street in California will also have trading starting today. During the next few weeks, additional open “Trade Me” boxes and Mystery Boxes will be distributed to select merchandise locations in Califorina, Florida and Paris. Look for more communication around this coming next week.Thank you to everyone who visited D-Street today. We had a great time and hope you did too. Mark your calendars for Friday, April 16 at 9:30 a.m. More to come…
