From Official Vinylmation Blog:

A big thank you to everyone that has made these past two years super fun for us. We are glad that you love Vinylmation™ as much as we do. Just wait because next year will be even better.
Speaking of next year, one of the more popular questions we are asked is, “When is Vinylmation – Star Wars™ #1 being released?” We can say that it is currently in transit. Barring any “Imperial entanglements,” we are planning the series to be released in January 2011. No firm release date yet so please stay tuned. Trust us, you will know.
Remember, our challenge of getting 2,222 fans by Monday on our official Facebook fan page is still out there. So please tell your friends!

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
The two figures pictured above are the first Cast Chasers. We have to stress that these figures won’t be released until sometime in 2011 (in other words, they are not available for trade now). Once introduced, these figures will be distributed to Cast Members to use for trade in the open and mystery trade boxes. They are similar to the Hidden Mickey pins that Cast Members use for trading with guests. These figures will complement a series of open window box figures being created for the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World® Resort. Each one of those open window boxes will salute a different Disney Theme Park.

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
Great news! October 22 is the official release date for Vinylmation™ Park #5 at Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort. Here’s another look at one of the Vinylmation™ Figures part of the collection:
Dawn Ockstadt created this “jolly” design, featuring one of the loveable penguin waiters from Walt Disney’s Mary Poppins. We especially like the inclusion of the striped design from Bert’s jacket in the ears.

My apologizes for the limited amount of updates recently. Here is a ”round-up” of all the latest Vinylmation News and Previews.
From Official Vinylmation Blog:
Here’s a sneak peek at one of the great Vinylmation™ Figures part of the Park #5 collection:
This Vinylmation™ Figure was inspired by the Buzz Lightyear themed attractions at Disney Parks and was designed by Disney Design Group Artist Eric Caszatt. Disney Park fans will notice many details in the design, including the iconic Zurg “Z” targets in the ears, a couple of batteries on the back and the Galactic Hero score (which we’re sure all of you will remember as the highest possible ranking).
For fans who are planning to attend the 10-10-10 Trading Event on October 10, 2010 at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Convention Center, please note that the time for the event has changed. It will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A new Cast Exclusive Vinylmation™ 3-inch figures was released at Company D and Team Centers in Florida and California. This limited edition figure was designed by Maria Clapsis and salutes Disney Voluntears. It has an edition size of 10,000 and Cast Members must present a valid ID card in order to purchase it. Limit of two figures, per Cast Member, per day.
Everyone has a birthday and this series will make a unique birthday gift. This open window box series will feature figures inspired by the Zodiac. The figures were designed by Maria Clapsis and Lisa Badeen. They did extensive research on not only the traditional figures associated with the Zodiac but also the colors and stars associated with each sign.

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
Let’s face it – nerds do indeed rock! We love these two figures from the upcoming series. It is based on a new art program that was recently introduced. There are tee-shirts, Disney pins and more are based on the art style.
When released, the Nerds Rock series will be open window box (which means you can select your favorite nerd). The Chip and Dale figures will have removable glasses. Any guesses as to who the other characters will be in this series? Just look at the Nerds Rock! items next time you are at Disney Parks and Resorts.

From Official Vinylmations Blog:
The Disney Parks Blog posted an article today about the upcoming Limited Edition ear hats inspired by two figures from the Urban #4 series: Check It Out.
A few of you may be wondering about an announcement that was shared yesterday about Duffy, The Disney Bear. Passholders who attended a sneak preview of Duffy, The Disney Bear heard that he is coming to the world of Vinylmation™. It’s true and we can’t wait. We spoke with Donald Ferro, product developer for Vinylmation™ about this figure.
“Mickey Mouse will remain the current platform for Vinylmation at this time,” explained Donald. “We are looking at different forms to complement the Mickey Mouse form and Duffy, The Disney Bear will be one of them. He will be a unique form not necessarily designed to replace the Mickey shaped form.”
Stay tuned for future interviews with Monty Maldovan and Thomas Scott, two of the Disney Design Group Artists, who are working on this different and unique form. We are still in the high-level concept phase. When we have additional concepts to show, we will post them here (and on the Sneak page).

From Official Vinylmation Blog:
While this Disney Parks Blog article features mostly Disney pins, we love the first image. Perfect for the start of College Football season: It’s Game Time!
Today also marks the start of our look at some of the series we discussed at the Vinylmation™ Conversation during the Vinylmation™ Showcase event on August 29, 2010. We were thrilled to see so many fans in attendance and we were super excited to share some sneak previews of what you can expect in the next year. It may have seemed like a lot, but the releases will be spread out over a period of time. The ultimate goal is to give our fans lots of different choices (as everyone has something they like to collect).
First up is Vinylmation™ Celebrations. This will be an open window box series featuring a variety of things to celebrate. While you will be able to pick your favorite 3″ figures featuring a particular celebration, each box will contain one of three randomly selected Vinylmation, Jr. mystery figures. This concept is similar to the Vinylmation™ Sports series and Vinylmation™ – Oh Mickey! series released in April 2010.
Here is an image of the Graduate figure with the three junior figures.
And here is the Thank You figure with its three juniors.
Keen eyes will notice the logo above contains a few additional figures – Happy Birthday, Blue Ribbon – The Best, and the Mickey Mouse face one. Any guesses on the last one? Stay tuned….
